About wvcd2.com…Formed in 2002 as a nonprofit organization promoting high school wrestling in Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA) and covering all of the District II region. WVCD2 stands for Wyoming Valley Conference District II. District II is an area that extends south from Columbia County all the way North to Susquehanna County in NEPA. The district is made up of two conferences, the Wyoming Valley Conference to the south (Wilkes-Barre Area) and the Lackawanna League to the north (Scranton Area).

In 2005 we introduced live audio coverage of select matches and tournaments in District 2 and throughout the state. We began video streaming from our Ustream account in 2005. We have covered the Tunkhannock Kiwanis Tournament over the past 7 years. We have covered the PIAA State wrestling tournament since 2005 providing live audio, updates and photos from the floor. In 2014 we added a YouTube channel to store and publish videos of matches on a delayed basis and will offer free NE Regional AA Rankings in 2017-18 season.
